Described signs

The first thing to say is not a symptom: if MORE THAN ONE magnet may have been swallowed, or a magnet plus a piece of metal, this is not something to watch at home. Two magnets travelling in different loops of bowel attract each other through the wall, pinch it between them, cut off its blood supply and eventually perforate it. Signs: repeated vomiting that does not let up, refusing to eat, low energy, belly pain, a tense hunched belly, straining to poop with no result, pale gums, fever and collapse. The worst part of this picture is that it can start slowly, with the animal looking fine.
